# BlackRock Bitcoin ETF Records $69.85 Million Inflow

> Editorial content, written by CryptoResearch.

BlackRock's IBIT fund added $69.85 million in Bitcoin as institutional demand continues to flow into the spot ETF product.

BlackRock's spot Bitcoin ETF, IBIT, recorded $69.85 million in inflows as institutional investors added to their positions. The purchase reflects the fund's mechanism of buying actual Bitcoin to back new shares issued to clients.

While the latest inflow is smaller than some of the fund's larger days this year, such as the $195.6 million recorded on October 1 or the $183.41 million inflow in July, it highlights ongoing institutional interest. The activity follows a nine-day inflow streak for US spot Bitcoin ETFs that concluded in late September 2026, during which the category saw approximately $3 billion in inflows.

This recent momentum helped shift cumulative flows for the category from a potential $5.8 billion deficit during the mid-2026 downturn to positive territory by late September. During that period, IBIT captured approximately $1.2 billion in a single week, outpacing competitors like Fidelity's FBTC and ARK 21Shares' ARKB.

IBIT has frequently dominated net category flows throughout 2026, occasionally attracting capital even on days when other funds experienced net outflows. This concentration of institutional money through a single product has given IBIT an outsized influence on the market structure.

Since its launch in January 2024, IBIT has maintained its position as a leader in assets under management and inflows. The fund provides regulated Bitcoin exposure for investors who prefer a traditional brokerage product over managing private keys.
