# BlackRock IBIT Leads Spot Bitcoin ETF Inflows With $195.6 Million Daily Buy

> Editorial content, written by CryptoResearch.

BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust recorded $195.6 million in inflows, offsetting net outflows from other spot Bitcoin ETFs to keep the category in the green.

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) added $195.6 million in Bitcoin to its holdings during the latest session. On-chain data from Arkham shows the fund’s total inflows over the past month have reached $1.57 billion.

The broader category of US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw a net inflow of $102.67 million for the day. Because IBIT’s individual intake exceeded the category’s total net inflow, other funds in the group were collectively net sellers during the session.

This performance marks a reversal from the previous session, which saw the category post an outflow of approximately $149 million. Over the last 30 days, the spot Bitcoin ETF category has recorded roughly $2.99 billion in net inflows, with IBIT accounting for more than half of that total.

Bitcoin traded above $86,000 during the session. IBIT, which launched in January 2024 following approval from the US Securities and Exchange Commission, currently holds $109.34 billion in assets under management.

The fund operates through authorized participants who create and redeem shares based on investor demand. To maintain a 1:1 backing, the fund acquires Bitcoin to match share creation, effectively converting brokerage-level demand into buying pressure for the underlying asset.

With a management fee of 0.25%, IBIT has become the largest US spot Bitcoin ETF. The fund’s reach into wealth platforms and institutional networks continues to serve as a primary channel for institutional demand for Bitcoin.
