# BlackRock iShares Bitcoin Trust Assets Under Management Surpass $62 Billion

The iShares Bitcoin Trust recorded $3.7 billion in quarterly net inflows, driving total assets under management to $62.6 billion and reinforcing its market leadership.

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) reported $3.7 billion in net inflows for the quarter, bringing its total assets under management to $62.6 billion. This growth highlights a divergence in the spot Bitcoin ETF market, where IBIT continues to attract capital while other funds experience net redemptions.

The fund’s assets under management grew from approximately $43.4 billion at the end of June 2026. The increase of roughly $19 billion over the quarter reflects both new investor capital and Bitcoin price movements. Since its launch in January 2024, cumulative net inflows into IBIT have exceeded $63.9 billion.

Market activity in August 2026 saw combined inflows across all US spot Bitcoin ETFs reach approximately $3.5 billion, the highest performance for the category since September 2025. IBIT secured the majority of this volume. Daily inflows for the fund consistently ranged between $100 million and $500 million during late August and early September, including a single-day inflow of $454 million on September 3, 2026.

Despite a sponsor fee of 0.25%, which is higher than some competitors, IBIT maintains the largest market share and trading volume in the category. Thirty-day net inflows for the fund through early September 2026 reached $2.78 billion.

The current inflow trend marks a reversal from earlier in 2026, when the fund faced periods of net outflows amid Bitcoin price fluctuations and profit-taking. The sustained inflows create consistent buying pressure, as ETF issuers must acquire the underlying asset to support new shares, establishing a demand structure that did not exist prior to January 2024.
