CoreWeave is set to launch three new data centers in Indonesia, adding 360 MW of contracted IT power to its high-performance GPU computing network by 2028.

CoreWeave is expanding its infrastructure with plans for three new data centers in Indonesia. These facilities are expected to deliver a combined 360 MW of contracted IT power.

The company, which specializes in high-performance GPU computing for artificial intelligence workloads, has scheduled these sites to go live in 2028.

While CoreWeave focuses on its expansion, other major players are also scaling up in the region. AdaniConneX, a joint venture, currently operates a site in Chennai and has expansion plans across Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Visakhapatnam.

Adani is also involved in a gigawatt-scale AI campus project in Visakhapatnam alongside Google. The broader Adani group has committed to investments in renewable energy-powered AI data centers that could reach $100 billion by 2035, with a target of 5 GW of capacity.

Additionally, Odisha has approved a ₹1.04 trillion investment for a 1 GW data center park linked to Adani. The Indian data center market is projected to grow 3 to 7 times by 2030, with Adani and Reliance positioning themselves as local hyperscalers.
