AI voice technology firm ElevenLabs plans to launch an initial public offering by 2028 after reaching an $11 billion valuation in its latest funding round.

ElevenLabs has announced intentions to pursue an initial public offering within the next two to three years. CEO Mati Staniszewski confirmed the timeline, positioning the company for a public market entry around 2028.

The firm reached an $11 billion post-money valuation following a $500 million Series D funding round that closed on February 4, 2026. This valuation represents a significant increase from the $3.3 billion valuation recorded in January 2025. The Series D round was led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, ICONIQ, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and BlackRock. Previous investors include NVIDIA and Salesforce Ventures.

Financial growth has accelerated rapidly, with annual recurring revenue rising from approximately $4.6 million in 2023 to over $330 million by the end of 2025. Estimates from April 2026 indicated that annual recurring revenue had surpassed $500 million. The company aims to double its end-of-2025 revenue during 2026.

The company reports that 41% of Fortune 500 companies utilize its services, including Meta and Deutsche Telekom. Its product offerings have grown to include conversational agents and dubbing technology alongside its original text-to-speech tools.

Total funding since the company's 2022 founding is estimated between $781 million and $850 million. Preliminary discussions regarding a secondary tender suggest that some investors value the company at approximately double its February valuation, potentially reaching $22 billion.

Capital from the recent funding round is designated for research and development, as well as geographic expansion into Japan, India, Brazil, and Mexico. The company is currently focused on expanding its executive team and establishing consistent revenue growth ahead of its planned public offering.
