# Fomo Overtakes Pump.fun in Weekly Solana Protocol Revenue

> Editorial content, written by CryptoResearch.

Social trading app Fomo has surpassed Pump.fun in seven-day protocol revenue, signaling a shift in activity on the Solana blockchain as the platform continues its rapid growth.

Fomo, a social trading application built on Solana, has overtaken Pump.fun in seven-day protocol revenue. This shift marks a change for the blockchain, where Pump.fun has held the top revenue position for nearly two years.

On September 4, Fomo generated $1.76 million in daily protocol revenue, while Pump.fun recorded $1.1 million. Despite this single-day lead, Pump.fun maintains a larger footprint over a 30-day window, with approximately $57 million in revenue compared to Fomo’s $17.6 million.

Fomo has seen a rapid increase in activity since its launch in May 2025. In July, the protocol ranked third among Solana projects by seven-day revenue, bringing in $1.39 million for the week ending July 16, while Pump.fun recorded $5.51 million during the same period.

The platform generates revenue through a flat fee of approximately $1 per swap, or a minimum 0.5% transaction fee on self-custodial trades. Additional income is derived from builder-code fees linked to Hyperliquid perpetual futures. The protocol does not currently have a governance token.

Since its inception 13 months ago, Fomo has raised $94 million in total funding. A $75 million Series B round in June 2026 brought the platform's valuation to $550 million. The app has reached over 625,000 users and processed billions in cumulative trading volume, including $25 million from first-time buyers using Apple Pay.

The two platforms operate with different user experience models. Pump.fun functions as a launchpad for memecoins, while Fomo operates as a social feed featuring real-time trade tracking, leaderboards, user follows, and one-tap copy trading.
