# Hyperscale Data Maintains Bitcoin Treasury Amid Pivot to AI Infrastructure

Hyperscale Data reports holding 220 Bitcoin and $37.4 million in cash as the company transitions its focus from mining to AI data center operations.

Hyperscale Data, which trades under the ticker GPUS on the NYSE American, reported a treasury balance of approximately 220 Bitcoin and $37.4 million in cash as of October 4, 2026. The Bitcoin holdings are valued at roughly $19 million.

This update follows a September 29 disclosure, which noted that the company held 219.0652 BTC and $37.5 million in cash as of September 27. At that time, the Bitcoin stack was valued at approximately $18.5 million based on a price of $84,458 per coin. Combined with its cash reserves, the company held about $56 million in liquid assets, a figure that represented roughly 153% of its market capitalization based on the closing stock price on September 28.

The company’s holdings have seen modest growth over the last month. In early September, Hyperscale Data reported 216.95 BTC valued at about $16.7 million, alongside $34.3 million in cash.

The firm is currently shifting its business model away from Bitcoin mining to focus on AI colocation and hosting services at its Michigan facility. Executive Chairman Milton “Todd” Ault III has positioned the company’s Bitcoin stack as a long-term reserve asset, distinguishing this strategy from the traditional mining model where companies frequently sell assets to cover operational expenses.

With Bitcoin accounting for a significant portion of its liquid resources, the company’s balance sheet remains sensitive to price volatility. While the cash reserves provide a more stable component of the treasury, any sharp movement in the price of Bitcoin will directly impact the total valuation of the company’s holdings.
