# Powerus Shares Hit Solana One Day After Nasdaq Listing

> Editorial content, written by CryptoResearch.

Defense technology firm Powerus has brought its Nasdaq-listed stock to the Solana blockchain via a tokenized representation, marking a rapid expansion of its equity distribution just one day after going public.

Powerus, a defense technology company focused on autonomous drones and counter-drone systems, completed its merger with Aureus Greenway Holdings on October 1 to become a publicly traded entity on Nasdaq. By October 2, the company's shares were available on the Solana blockchain through a tokenized version issued by Backpack Securities.

The tokenized asset, PUSA, is designed to be redeemable one-to-one for the underlying Nasdaq-listed share. As of 2:45 p.m. on the day of its release, the token reached $9.1 million in trading volume. The company clarified that PUSA is not a cryptocurrency or a corporate memecoin, but rather a tokenized representation of its existing common stock.

Powerus, which counts Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. among its investors through American Venture Partners, focuses on autonomous aircraft and command software. Its xNav AI architecture is designed to integrate data from radar and visual sensors to identify threats and coordinate autonomous systems. The company also reported an approximately 89% interception success rate for its Guardian counter-drone system, though this figure is not an independently verified government statistic.

The company's subsidiary, Tandem Defense, has secured a U.S. Air Force IDIQ contract for its Guardian-2 system with a ceiling of up to $90 million through mid-2028. CEO Andrew Fox stated that the merger positions the company to scale its manufacturing and autonomous systems development.

The move to Solana highlights a shift in how public equities can be distributed. While traditional stocks are held within brokerage infrastructure, tokenization allows these assets to exist in wallets and interact with blockchain-based financial infrastructure. However, the service provided by Backpack Securities remains restricted in certain jurisdictions, including the United States, and is subject to existing securities laws.

The transition of PUSA to an on-chain format within 24 hours of the corporate merger illustrates a growing trend of moving financial execution into software. By utilizing Solana as an additional rail for its equity, Powerus has enabled its shares to trade outside of traditional market hours.
