BlackRock iShares Bitcoin Trust Records $117 Million Daily Inflow
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust attracted $117.4 million in capital on September 4, 2026, contributing to a broader trend of institutional investment in spot Bitcoin ETFs.

The iShares Bitcoin Trust managed by BlackRock recorded $117.4 million in inflows during the trading session on September 4, 2026. This activity contributed to a total of $174.6 million in inflows across U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs for that day, with the remaining $57.2 million attributed to Fidelity’s FBTC.
The recent inflows follow a significant movement on September 3, 2026, when the iShares Bitcoin Trust saw $454 million in inflows. Combined, these two days resulted in over half a billion dollars in capital entering the funds.
BlackRock functions as an intermediary for these transactions, purchasing Bitcoin on the open market only when clients provide instructions through the fund. These purchases are executed in collaboration with custodians such as Coinbase Prime, and the inflows reflect actual Bitcoin acquisitions rather than accounting figures.
Since its launch in January 2024, the iShares Bitcoin Trust has surpassed $60 billion in cumulative net inflows. The fund maintains a lead in the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF category, with Fidelity’s FBTC serving as its primary competitor.
While single-day inflows of $454 million were considered notable events during 2024 and early 2025, such figures have become a recurring feature of the market by mid-2026.
