ONDO Jumps as Ondo Launches BlackRock-Designed Portfolio Tokens
Ondo Finance launched three tokenized portfolio products based on BlackRock allocation models, giving eligible non-US investors 24/7 access to the strategies. ONDO rose as much as 30% after the announcement.

Ondo Finance launched three onchain portfolio tokens on September 24 using allocation models designed by BlackRock. The products give eligible non-US investors access to institutional investment strategies through tokens that trade around the clock.
ONDO rallied between 18% and 30% in the hours after the announcement, alongside an increase in trading volume. Ethereum active addresses also rose roughly 30% during the same period.
The products are named BLKHIon, BLKDIGon and BLKGRWon. They track separate income, diversified-growth and high-growth allocation themes.
BlackRock created nondiscretionary allocation models specifically for Ondo but does not handle daily operations. Ondo Global Markets is responsible for issuing and overseeing the tokens, while smart contracts automate portfolio rebalancing and make the underlying holdings visible onchain.
The portfolios hold tokenized equities and ETFs. They are currently available on Ethereum and BNB Chain, with support for Solana planned for a later rollout.
Unlike traditional ETFs, which trade during market hours and settle on T+1 timelines through brokerage infrastructure, the portfolio tokens can trade 24/7 and settle near-instantly. They can also move between wallets, be used as collateral in DeFi lending protocols or form part of more complex onchain products.
The initial launch excludes US investors. Ondo instead introduced the products internationally amid regulatory uncertainty around crossover products combining traditional investment exposure with crypto-native infrastructure.
BlackRock manages more than $10 trillion in assets globally. Its role in designing the portfolios brings its allocation expertise to Ondo's tokenized investment platform, while Ethereum and BNB Chain provide the initial onchain infrastructure.
