Robinhood Chain Records $34.6 Billion in Cumulative DEX Volume
The Arbitrum-based Robinhood Chain has reached $34.6 billion in cumulative decentralized exchange volume since its July 1 launch, driven by memecoin activity and tokenized equities.

The Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum Layer 2 network built on Arbitrum, has recorded approximately $34.6 billion in cumulative decentralized exchange volume as of early September. The network, which launched on July 1, has experienced an acceleration in trading activity since its inception.
During its first week of operation, the chain processed roughly $3.1 billion in cumulative trades, with daily volumes averaging $500 million. By early September, peak daily trading volumes reached between $989 million and over $3.7 billion.
The surge in activity is attributed to two primary factors: memecoins and tokenized equities. The memecoin CASHCAT reached a market capitalization exceeding $100 million during early trading. Additionally, tokenized versions of stocks such as NVDA and AAPL have contributed billions to the total trade volume, offering 24/7 permissionless access to equity trading.
Uniswap has served as the primary venue for this activity, facilitating between 77% and over 90% of the DEX volume on peak days. Liquidity metrics also show growth, with total value locked reaching approximately $708 million in August, marking a 100% month-over-month increase. Stablecoin supply on the network rose by 47% monthly to reach approximately $770 million.
Despite these figures, the network has yet to fully integrate the traditional retail brokerage base of its parent company. Current activity is primarily driven by crypto-native users rather than the broader retail demographic the chain was intended to bridge into decentralized finance.
