Anthropic Updates Claude iOS App With Usage Tracking and Customization
Anthropic has introduced a usage details button and a customization section for Claude Code within its iOS application, providing developers with increased visibility into plan limits and environment settings.

Anthropic has deployed two interface updates to the Claude iOS application, specifically targeting the Claude Code feature. The update includes a button for monitoring usage allocations and a dedicated section for environment customization.
These additions are designed to assist developers who utilize Claude for coding tasks on mobile devices. By providing visibility into consumption levels and configuration options, the update aims to allow users to manage their coding environment and plan usage without needing to transition to a desktop interface.
Claude Code is integrated into the primary Claude iOS app via a dedicated tab. The feature has been in a research preview since October 2025, with ongoing iterations from Anthropic.
The update follows a series of recent developments for the Claude iOS app, including the introduction of widgets, App Intents, and system-level integrations. Additionally, the company recently launched a beta feature called Reflect, which offers personal usage analytics for tracking interaction patterns.
These changes occur as the market for AI-powered coding assistants remains competitive, with tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor also available to developers. Organizations are increasingly focused on analytics regarding team productivity and the return on investment for such tools.
