BlackRock IBIT Leads Bitcoin ETF Inflows with $55 Million on Monday
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust continues to dominate the spot ETF landscape, recording $55 million in inflows on Monday as the broader category saw $31.1 million in net gains.

US spot bitcoin ETFs recorded $31.1 million in net inflows on Monday, with BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) driving the majority of the activity. The fund pulled in $55 million, indicating that other products in the category experienced net outflows during the same period.
The broader ETF market has seen a significant shift in sentiment throughout 2026. After year-to-date flows hit a low of negative $5.8 billion in mid-July, the trend reversed to reach approximately $934 million in positive cumulative flows by late September. This represents a swing of nearly $6.7 billion.
IBIT remains the clear leader in the space, with its total asset base growing to nearly $67 billion. During the week ending September 25, 2026, the fund attracted $1.2 billion, accounting for about half of the $2.4 billion in total inflows recorded by the entire US spot bitcoin ETF category that week. Fidelity’s FBTC followed with $702 million, trailing BlackRock’s total by roughly 40%.
The recent surge in interest is further reflected in the category's lifetime cumulative inflows, which reached about $57.6 billion by late September, with total net assets nearing $108 billion. One day during that period saw nearly $999 million in inflows, marking the ninth-largest single-day total since the products launched.
Spot ether ETFs also saw positive movement, recording $17.1 million in inflows on Monday. This follows a strong week ending September 25, where the products accumulated roughly $690 million, a recovery from the $140 million in outflows seen the previous week.
The current market structure for IBIT benefits from a self-reinforcing cycle where tighter bid-ask spreads and higher trading volumes attract more capital. However, the data shows an intra-week pattern of tapering demand, with inflows typically strongest on Mondays before declining throughout the rest of the week.
