Bradley Barcola excluded from Paris Saint-Germain squad following Liverpool transfer
Bradley Barcola has been omitted from the Paris Saint-Germain roster for the match against AS Monaco following his record-breaking transfer to Liverpool.

Paris Saint-Germain has excluded forward Bradley Barcola from the team list for the upcoming fixture against AS Monaco. The 24-year-old player recently completed a move to Liverpool on August 31, 2026.
The transfer deal is valued at 125 million euros, with an additional 20 million euros possible through performance-related bonuses. This transaction represents the largest sale in the history of Paris Saint-Germain.
Barcola originally joined Paris Saint-Germain from Lyon in August 2023 for 45 million euros. During his tenure at the club, he recorded 39 goals across 152 appearances in all competitions. His performance history against AS Monaco includes one goal and two assists in seven Ligue 1 matches.
The departure follows a period of physical setbacks for the player, including a right ankle ligament sprain sustained in March 2026. Due to the timing of his transfer and ongoing recovery from this injury, Barcola did not participate in the preseason with Liverpool, which has delayed his debut for the club as of early September 2026.
