Robinhood Chain Records $3.7 Billion in Daily DEX Volume

Robinhood Chain achieved a record $3.7 billion in 24-hour decentralized exchange volume. This milestone follows the network's mainnet launch on July 1, 2026, and places the chain among the top five global networks by DEX volume.

The network, which utilizes the Arbitrum Orbit stack, has experienced significant growth since its public testnet went live in February 2026. Daily DEX volume reached between $560 million and $570 million by July 8 and 9, before hitting a previous high of approximately $878 million on July 11. By late August, daily volumes reached between $920 million and $944 million, with $875 million recorded on August 30 alongside 5.52 million total transactions. Reports from early September indicated daily volumes between $1.3 billion and $1.9 billion.

Trading activity on the chain is primarily driven by Uniswap v3 and Uniswap v4, which have accounted for roughly 90% of volume on peak days. Initial growth was fueled by memecoins, including CASHCAT, and token launchpads such as Pons. The network has also integrated tokenized real-world assets, specifically equities, with a single-day record of $85 million in tokenized stock trading recorded on August 25.

Cumulative DEX volume on the chain exceeded $47 billion by mid-August, while total value locked reached between $700 million and $800 million by late August. The network has also seen an increase in stablecoin supply.

Robinhood's strategy involves leveraging its existing brokerage platform, which has approximately 24 million funded accounts. By offering tokenized versions of stocks like NVIDIA and Apple, the company aims to bridge traditional finance with decentralized infrastructure, providing retail investors with an alternative to traditional DeFi activities.
