Solana Cumulative Decentralized Exchange Volume Exceeds $3 Trillion

Solana has surpassed $3 trillion in cumulative decentralized exchange volume, driven by high-frequency trading and a shift toward stablecoins and tokenized assets.

Solana has reached a cumulative decentralized exchange volume of $3 trillion. This milestone reflects significant activity across both spot and perpetual markets, with more than half of this total volume occurring during 2025.

The network's ability to facilitate high-frequency, small-size trades is attributed to its low transaction costs and high throughput. By mid-2026, Solana secured approximately 36% of global spot decentralized exchange volume, placing it first among all blockchain networks. Daily trading volumes were recorded at roughly $2.9 billion in September 2026.

Raydium has served as a primary contributor to this volume, processing over $530 billion in 2024 and approximately $642 billion in 2025. While speculative token trading has been a factor, the ecosystem has also seen contributions from stablecoin swaps and tokenized assets.

Market participants note that historical volume figures have been influenced by wash trading, bot activity, and memecoin cycles. However, the expansion into stablecoins and tokenized assets is viewed as a development that may provide a more stable foundation for the network's trading activity.
