Solana Daily Network Revenue Exceeds $1 Million
Solana recorded over $1 million in daily network revenue on August 19, marking its highest single-day total in six months as on-chain activity continues to recover.

Solana generated more than $1 million in network revenue on August 19. This figure, tracked by SolanaFloor, represents a composite of base fees, priority fees, and MEV tips, reaching a six-month high for the network.
This revenue milestone follows a period of growth that began in July. During that month, Solana ecosystem applications generated $82.9 million in revenue, the highest monthly total since February. This performance allowed the network to capture 16.5% of total protocol fees across all tracked chains, ranking it third among competing networks.
On July 18, Solana briefly led all blockchains in daily network revenue. DeFiLlama reported $5.35 million in protocol fees during that 24-hour period.
The report distinguishes between network-level revenue and application-level revenue. The $1 million figure from August 19 reflects network-level revenue, which flows to validators and influences SOL burns. The $82.9 million July figure represents application-level revenue, which is captured by dApps and protocols built on the chain.
According to the report, high application revenue indicates user demand for Solana-based products, while high network-level revenue suggests demand for block space, which impacts validator economics and staking yields. Sustained revenue growth may also reduce the circulating supply of SOL through fee burns.
