Solana ETFs Record $188 Million Weekly Inflow as Bitwise Dominates

U.S. spot Solana ETFs pulled in a record $188 million in net inflows last week, with every fund in the group seeing positive movement. Friday alone accounted for $87 million of that total, marking the largest daily intake since the funds launched.

Bitwise’s BSOL led the pack, bringing in roughly $128 million during the five sessions ending September 25. This represents about 68 percent of the weekly total. Grayscale’s GSOL followed with $28 million, while Fidelity’s FSOL added $18 million. The remaining $14 million was split between Morgan Stanley, VanEck, Franklin Templeton, and 21Shares.

Bitwise continues to hold a significant portion of the total market demand. Since inception, the firm’s BSOL product has captured approximately $1.2 billion of the $1.6 billion in cumulative net inflows, accounting for roughly 76 percent of the total.

The surge in ETF interest occurred alongside broader market activity, as U.S. bitcoin ETFs saw $2.4 billion in inflows and ether products added $690 million. SOL was trading around $119 during Monday morning hours in Asia, remaining about 60 percent below its record high of $293.

On the technical side, Solana developers are currently testing an upgrade known as Alpenglow. The update aims to reduce payment finality from 12.8 seconds to approximately 150 milliseconds. The upgrade reached the network’s second public testing environment on Friday, though a launch date for the live blockchain has not been set.
