Solana Ranks Fourth in Zcash Spot Trading Volume
Solana has reached the fourth position for Zcash spot trading volume, processing $64 million in trades over a 24-hour period as demand for the privacy token increases.

Solana has emerged as a significant platform for Zcash spot trading, recording $64 million in volume within a 24-hour window. This performance places the decentralized ecosystem behind Binance, Coinbase, and Kraken in terms of global ZEC spot trading activity.
The recorded volume marks a 220% increase from previous metrics, granting Solana a 5.35% share of the global ZEC spot market. The total tokenized value of bridged ZEC on the network is reported at $112.8 million.
Market data indicates that Binance leads with $481.6 million in volume, followed by Coinbase at $281.8 million and Kraken at $124.2 million. Within the Solana ecosystem, platforms such as Raydium and Orca have facilitated this trading, supported by cross-chain infrastructure like OmniBridge. One ZEC variant on Solana recorded a 36.83% change over the 24-hour period.
The rise in trading activity follows the launch of a spot ZEC exchange-traded product by Grayscale, which provided a regulated entry point for traditional finance investors. While this has increased interest in the privacy token, the reliance on cross-chain bridges presents security considerations. Because bridged assets depend on the infrastructure used to create them, the $112.8 million in tokenized value represents a significant concentration of assets on bridge technology.
