US Spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs Record Net Inflows
US spot Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded funds recorded net inflows of $175 million and $26.46 million respectively on September 4, reflecting sustained institutional interest in crypto-linked products.

US spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted $175 million in net inflows on September 4, while Ethereum ETFs recorded $26.46 million in net inflows on the same day. These figures follow a period of significant activity, with the combined products drawing over $200 million on September 4, following a total of approximately $872 million in inflows on September 3.
The inflows on September 4 follow a notable shift in market sentiment. On September 3, Bitcoin ETFs saw approximately $731 million in net inflows, the largest single-day total since January 14, 2026. This followed a period of outflows, with Bitcoin ETFs recording $236.5 million in outflows on September 1.
BlackRock’s IBIT fund has maintained a dominant position in the Bitcoin ETF category, accounting for roughly 62% of total inflows on September 3 with approximately $454 million. In the Ethereum category, BlackRock’s ETHA and Fidelity’s FETH led inflows on September 3 with $72.07 million and $65.11 million respectively, while Grayscale’s ETHE recorded $6.07 million in outflows.
Cumulative data indicates that Bitcoin ETFs have reached approximately $55.44 billion in net inflows since their launch in January 2024, with total assets under management of about $103.34 billion. This represents roughly 6.3% of the total Bitcoin market capitalization. Ethereum ETFs have accumulated $13.17 billion in net inflows, with assets under management totaling approximately $15.92 billion, or about 5.2% of Ethereum’s market capitalization.
Market observers attribute the recent demand to a risk-on environment, noting that the inflow surge coincided with Bitcoin trading above $80,000 and Ethereum clearing $2,500. Dovish commentary from Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller has been identified as a potential catalyst for this trend.
