US Spot Bitcoin ETFs See $433 Million Inflow on Friday
US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $433 million in net inflows on Friday, Sept. 18, as demand broadened across multiple issuers to help recover from earlier weekly losses.

US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds saw $433 million in net inflows on Friday, Sept. 18, according to data from Farside Investors. The session marked a second consecutive day of positive flows, though it was not enough to fully offset the $746.3 million in withdrawals recorded on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) led the day with $310.7 million in inflows, significantly outpacing BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), which added $108.4 million. Smaller positive flows were also recorded by Bitwise's BITB, ARK 21Shares' ARKB, and VanEck's HODL, indicating that demand was not limited to the two largest funds.
The shift toward Fidelity as the primary contributor on Friday contrasted with earlier in the week, when BlackRock led the inflows. Despite Friday's performance, BlackRock remained the leader for the full five-session week, accumulating $120.6 million compared to $79.9 million for Fidelity.
The combined $592.5 million in inflows from Thursday and Friday failed to completely bridge the gap left by the midweek outflows, leaving a deficit of $153.8 million for those two days. When including Monday's $159.9 million inflow, the week finished with a total net inflow of $6.1 million.
While the withdrawals occurred around the time of the Federal Reserve's decision to raise its target range by 25 basis points to 3.75% to 4.00%, the available data does not confirm a direct link between the policy change and the market activity.
Traders will be watching upcoming sessions to see if the broader participation from Fidelity and smaller issuers persists. For now, the data shows that while the rebound recovered much of the midweek losses, the weekly net result remained nearly flat.
