Bitwise Solana Staking ETF Captures 80% of US Spot SOL Inflows
The Bitwise Solana Staking ETF, trading under the ticker BSOL, has secured approximately 80% of all US spot Solana fund inflows since its October 2025 launch.

Bitwise’s Solana Staking ETF recently facilitated the purchase of about $9.65 million in SOL to back new client shares. An on-chain transfer of approximately 95,887 SOL confirmed the move, marking another milestone for the fund since its debut in October 2025.
Cumulative net purchases through BSOL have now reached roughly $948 million. This volume has established the fund as the dominant player in the US spot Solana ETF category, accounting for about 80% of total net inflows.
The fund distinguishes itself by holding and staking SOL directly, aiming for a gross annual yield of approximately 7%. This structure allows investors to gain price exposure while earning staking rewards without managing their own wallets or validators.
Bitwise has also utilized a competitive fee structure, charging a 0.20% management fee that is currently waived for the first $1 billion in assets under management.
Momentum for the fund has been consistent. On August 24, 2026, BSOL recorded a single-day inflow of $25 million. During periods of high demand, the fund has seen daily average inflows between $40 million and $50 million. In September 2026, the broader US spot Solana ETF market saw a record single-day inflow of over $80 million, with BSOL providing a significant portion of that total.
Total US spot Solana ETF inflows have climbed past $1.6 billion as of late September 2026. While non-staking competitors offer direct price exposure, the yield-generating nature of BSOL has attracted allocators who compare crypto assets to dividend equities and fixed income products.
The nearly $950 million in cumulative open-market purchases creates demand pressure on SOL supply. Additionally, the SOL staked through the fund contributes to network security by increasing the total stake delegated to validators.
