PaleBlueDot AI Negotiates $600M Private Credit Deal with Brookfield for GPU Purchases
Palo Alto-based infrastructure startup PaleBlueDot AI is in talks with Brookfield Asset Management to secure $600 million in private credit to fund a major GPU acquisition for a facility in South Korea.
PaleBlueDot AI is currently negotiating a $600 million private credit facility with Brookfield Asset Management. The startup intends to use the capital to purchase GPUs for a new facility located in South Korea.
The hardware is intended to support operations for Xiaohongshu, a Chinese social commerce and lifestyle platform. Xiaohongshu has been scaling its AI capabilities, including search, content recommendation, and commerce features, for its user base of over 300 million monthly active users.
This potential financing follows a series of rapid capital raises for the Palo Alto-based company. PaleBlueDot AI closed a $150 million Series B round in January 2026, which brought its valuation above $1 billion. In July 2026, the firm secured a $255 million GPU-backed private note from Brookfield and Tor Investment Management, using its existing chip inventory as collateral.
If the $600 million deal is finalized, it would mark the company's largest financing event to date. The agreement would also push the startup's total known equity and debt financing to more than $1 billion.
PaleBlueDot AI currently operates across several Asian markets, including Singapore, Japan, and South Korea. The company acts as a bridge between Western GPU supply chains and enterprise demand in Asia. Negotiations for the new credit facility are ongoing, and terms have not yet been finalized.
